MARLO is committed to offering our customers an extensive line of equipment to solve water treatment problems in the most efficient and cost effective manner possible. We utilize a variety of the most current technologies for residential, commercial, institutional, and industrial applications.

MARLO, located in Racine, Wisconsin on the shores of Lake Michigan with easy access to metropolitan Milwaukee and Chicago, was founded by Fred and Mike Glines in 1973. MARLO is a privately held family Corporation staffed with talented individuals with a breadth of experience in the water treatment industry, ready to assist you with your next project.

MGT Series

This series is designed for a wide range of commercial and industrial water softening applications. Individual tank capacity ranges from 15,000 grain to 1,200,000 grain with continuous flow rates of 1-215 GPM.

  • Fiberglass reinforced polyester (FRP) pressure vessels for 150 psi working pressure.
  • High capacity, sulfonated polystyrene cation exchange resin in sodium-form.
  • Brass, top mounted multi-port control valves with integral brine injector.
  • Self-adjusting flow control to maintain accurate backwash rates.
  • Internal distribution system for minimal pressure drop and optimal regeneration.
  • Rigid, polyethylene brine tanks with dry-salt shelf platform and water re-fill valves.

MR Series

This series is designed for larger commercial and industrial water softening applications. Individual tank capacity ranges from 150,000 grain to 1,050,000 grain with continuous flow rates of 20-190 GPM. Single tank, multi-tank parallel, twin alternating, and triple alternating systems are available with a wide variety of timer and water meter controllers.

  • Epoxy lined and prime exterior finished carbon steel pressure vessels. Non-ASME construction with 100 psig working pressure.
  • High capacity, sulfonated polystyrene cation exchange resin in sodium-form.
  • Galvanized steel face-piping assembly with cast iron, normally-open, “Y” pattern diaphragm control valves.
  • Pilot stager valve controller for automatic regeneration operation. Pre-wired in a NEMA-4X enclosure with an adjustable timeclock for regeneration initiation.
  • Self-adjusting flow control to maintain accurate backwash rates.
  • PVC pressure-compensated brine injector for correct brine flow and concentration.
  • PVC media-retaining underdrain distribution system in either hub-radial or header-lateral configurations for minimal pressure drop and proper regeneration.
  • Rigid, polyethylene brine tanks with dry-salt shelf platform and water re-fill valves.

MHC Series

This series is designed for large industrial water softening applications. Individual tank capacity ranges from 1,200,000 grain to 5,400,000 grain with continuous flow rates of 100-1,150 GPM. Single tank, multi-tank parallel, twin alternating, and triple alternating systems are available with a wide variety of timer and water meter controllers.

  • Epoxy lined and prime exterior finished carbon steel pressure vessels. Non-ASME construction with 100 psig working pressure.
  • High capacity, sulfonated polystyrene cation exchange resin in sodium-form.
  • Galvanized steel face-piping assembly with cast iron, normally-open, “Y” pattern diaphragm control valves. Filters with service piping 6″ and larger utilize flanged carbon steel face-piping and double-acting butterfly service control valves.
  • Pilot stager valve controller for automatic regeneration operation. Pre-wired in a NEMA-4X enclosure with an adjustable timeclock for regeneration initiation.
  • Self-adjusting flow control to maintain accurate backwash rates.
  • Pressure-compensated brine injector for correct brine flow and concentration.
  • PVC media-retaining underdrain distribution system in either hub-radial or header-lateral configurations for minimal pressure drop and proper regeneration.
  • Rigid, polyethylene or FRP brine tanks with wet-salt storage and water re-fill valves

MRO-8H-1L Series

The MARLO MRO-1L Industrial Reverse Osmosis System is a specialized, hybrid design that combines the simple operation and economical features of a traditional 4″ style machine with higher product flow rates and industrial appearance of an 8″ style machine. The use of single membrane element housings significantly reduce the skid footprint making it the perfect industrial RO system for locations with tight available floor-space.

  • 8″ x 40″ Low-Energy membrane elements (TFC)
  • 5-micron sediment pre-filter housing
  • Automatic inlet shut-off valve
  • Solid-state digital controller (NEMA-4X)
  • Product water conductivity monitor
  • Operating pressure gauges
  • Product, concentrate, and recycle flow meters
  • Concentrate and recycle flow control valves
  • Low inlet pressure switch with shutdown alarm

Operating Parameters

  • Operating Pressure: 150-200 psig
