With the press of a single button, Miura Boilers produce steam in 5 minutes or less. Period.
Would you buy a car that needs to idle all night long or warm-up for 90 minutes before you can drive it? Of course not. So why put up with that for your boiler? There’s no-warm up necessary. In five minutes or less from start-up, you’ve got steam to run your processes, heat your facility, or whatever you need it for when you need it. Miura’s boilers feature fast starts that track precisely to drastic load swings. With our innovative “MI” (Multiple Installation) systems, you can build an on-demand steam plant customized to meet your specific demand requirements. Our MI system provides the flexibility to build to current steam loads within very tight tolerances. In addition, our more efficient boilers are synchronized to give you the steam you need and cycle on and off when you don’t need it.
Miura boilers meet lower NOx standards, reduce maintenance and monitoring needs, and reduce space requirements. And they do it with the most real-world, in-service efficiency possible, saving you up to 20% on fuel costs. With Miura’s Complete Steam Solution, full system reliability is achieved through automated monitoring, proactive maintenance, and full system communication to keep personnel in the know even outside of the boiler room.
Steam-as-a-Service
Steam-as-a-Service (SaaS) delivers state-of-the-art equipment, next-gen IoT capabilities, and onsite operation and maintenance for an easy to understand monthly payment. Backed by nearly 370 years of steam industry experience between three companies – Miura, Armstrong International, and Hartford Steam Boiler (HSB) – you’re guaranteed top performance and efficiency for your steam generation system with no risk. It’s a new way to think (a lot less) about steam.
Total Miura Turnkey Solution
Running a highly efficient steam solution is more than just a boiler – it requires full system communication, intuitive automation, and proactive maintenance. Miura’s on-demand IoT technology system monitors steam demand in real-time and produces the exact amount of steam the facility needs, when it needs it. Boiler health is checked around the clock with automated sensors to ensure output reliability. It’s money, time, and resources saved.
Products
Our low NOx steam boilers meet and exceed current and proposed regulations emissions levels, as low as 9 ppm NOx at 3% corrected O2.
Gas-fired: Natural Gas or Propane
High and low-pressure steam options available (300 MAWP, 170 MAWP or 15 MAWP)
Compact, an LX 200 Boiler can fit through a standard doorway
Naturally low NOx (nitrogen oxides) Rating as low as 9 ppm depending on model
Our EX Gas/Oil Series High-Pressure Steam Boiler is the most versatile industrial steam boiler in the world. The EX design minimizes carryover and produces dry 99+% saturated steam in less than 5 minutes from a cold start. Faster start-up means less fuel used, greater savings, responsible use of precious natural resources.
Dual fuel-fired: Natural Gas, Propane or #2 Fuel Oil
High-pressure options available (300 MAWP, 250 MAWP, or 170 MAWP)
NOx rating is available as low as 30ppm depending on model
Miura Water Treatment solutions are specifically engineered to provide sufficient and quality feedwater for high efficient boiler systems. The MW-Series water softeners feature a dual-tank design that ensures a continuous supply of softened water even during the regeneration phase. The Miura Colormetry hardness detection unit automatically takes small samples of treated water to test for conductivity and signals a softener regeneration if hardness is detected. The complete Miura solution monitors and proactively provides complete system reliability.
Miura proudly builds its boilers in Rockmart, GA. Quality and safety are the hallmarks of our Rockmart plant. Miura is allowed to use the ASME S, H, U and R stamps and every boiler is UL Certified. We utilize U.S. manufactured boiler tubes and incorporate U.L. certified parts whenever practical. ASME and U.L. construction and inspection is handled on-site in our Rockmart plant. We are proud to be only one of 18 factories in Georgia to carry the SHARP certification for safety.
SMALLER IS BETTER
Miura’s unique, compact modular design features a low-volume pressure vessel, offering output capacities comparable to much larger traditional, outdated boilers. The resulting smaller boiler footprint provides design flexibility, reduced construction costs and more options with existing spaces. Miura boilers eliminate tube pull-space and door-swing space requirements typical of conventional designs. This allows configuration of the boiler room for double the output of an existing boiler plant or reduction of its size by over fifty percent. And a Miura boiler system is so flexible, you can have multiple boilers working on the same system in separate installations or install Miura boilers at the point-of-use in order to eliminate energy loss through line transmission.
MIURA SAVINGS SOLUTIONS
Miura’s low water volume design results in optimal heat transfer with fuel-to-steam efficiencies of 85% +/- at all load conditions, which in turn, can save hundreds of thousands of dollars per year.
A well-maintained Miura boiler provides the highest efficiency throughout the life of the system and protects this important investment. It’s an essential part of keeping your Miura boiler running like the day you bought it. And with a 3-hour shut down for routine inspections, you don’t have to lose a whole day or shut the whole plant down. Just shut down one modular boiler and keep the others up and running. From water analysis to our MOM online support systems, to overall efficiency, our Miura boiler maintenance program ensures that you’ll save downtime while saving energy costs. Plus, most parts are covered free, and emergency service is available should you need it.
Miura is known around the world for its dedication to quality and its ongoing drive for excellence. Our products are supported by the best engineering technology in the industry and every Miura boiler is backed by a warranty you can count on. By choosing Miura’s maintenance & inspection program, you’ll be making a wise decision assuring worry-free boiler operation.
